I think that Fukuyama's thesis is that history is ending because we have basically reached a point in politics where there isn't really any way to improve the system.

Although I don't agree with his ideas, I can see how his argument makes sense to some people. I think his evidence (especially about Hegel and his beliefs about the end of history) is convincing. It is clear that he did a lot of research and had a good understanding of Hegels work and how to make it relate to his ideas.

Personally I don't agree with Fukuyama's idea because I feel that, even if we have reached a point in history where everyone is using the same "ideal" system, there are always improvements that can be made.
