It seems like everyone has covered what Einstein added quite well.

I will instead put forward why I do not think science has changed. New things have been added and old ideas destroyed. The concepts people base their work on has changed, but not the discipline of Science.

None of the work Einstein did changed the fundamental foundations of science, that there is something outside of us for us to study. Just because the concept of ether and a universal reference point is no longer present, does not mean that all of the work done up to that point is suddenly invalid.

One of the advantages in science is that it builds upon itself. Just because Aristotle was wrong about almost everything, does not make him suddenly invalid. Science is a way of learning, a way of studying, and learning new information does not change the process.
